Welcome to the website of the
King Edward VII Preceptory of Improvement

My name is V.E.Kt Tim Wheeler and I have recently been installed as Great Marshal. With this privilege I have also become the Chairman of this wonderful Preceptory, and as such it gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the committee and members of the King Edward VII Preceptory of Improvement to welcome you to our website.

We were established in 1906 and still meet under the authority and licence of the Most Eminent and Supreme Grand Master. Our aim is to preserve the Knights Templar and Malta Rituals that have been handed down to us and help our Brother Knights fully appreciate the finer points of these Ceremonies. We welcome Knights of all Grades to our meetings and would particularly encourage Preceptors and Marshals to attend and reap the benefits this Preceptory of Improvement can offer, ultimately even taking the examination to be an 'Instructing Preceptor'.

Our meetings take place at Mark Masons Hall and the dates are always listed in the Liber Ordinis. We are available, at the invitation of a Provincial Prior, to go out into the Provinces and are grateful for the support from Preceptories and Brother Knights that makes this possible.

It is our intention to run Workshops for Provincial Marshals and their Deputies on all aspects of our ceremonies, both Temple and Malta; these will take place on specific dates. This shared knowledge can then be taken back to the Provinces along with the enthusiasm we all have for our wonderful Orders. If you require any specific advice or guidance then please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

The King Edward VII Preceptory of Improvement is here for the benefit of all Knights of our Constitution and we look forward to welcoming you at our meetings.

V.E.Kt. Tim Wheeler
Great Marshal
